Rest & Digest Mindfulness Series

Join Heidi for a weekly mindfulness practice to help get in touch with your body by supporting the nervous system and optimal digestive function during this transition season.


For the month of November we will practice and discuss nourishing ways to bring mindfulness and awareness back to the body. Emphasizing on the gut-brain connection and ways to support the parasympathetic nervous system through nutritional, physical and lifestyle options.


This series is ideal for people who are beginning their mindfulness journey and looking for nourishing ways to support their body in times of anxiety, stress, overwhelm, upset stomachs, menstruation discomfort/cramps or how to calm the body for rest.

Each week we will explore different topics but it is not required to attend each class. Recordings are available for those that are unable to make it to each class.
Each week you can expect:
      • Beginner breathing practice
      • Soothing yoga sequence
      • Seasonal recipe for food and/or beverage
      • Space and time to meditate, journal, rest, digest & relax before and after practice with herbal teas available
Yoga mat is suggested but not necessarily required (there are only a few available) and I do recommend bringing a blanket, cozy socks and/or a notebook for the end as well. Pillows/meditation cushions are provided however we are in the forest so bring as many cozy items as you would like.


DATES:  Tuesday evenings, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

TIMEClass will be from 6:30pm – 7:30pm HOWEVER, those attending in person may arrive early at 6pm and stay late until 8pm to get settled in, relax, meditate or ask questions.

IN-PERSON COST: $55 for 5 classes or $15 drop-in

*all virtual classes will be recordings. Unfortunately a live recording will not be available as the service and wifi strength is not very secure. All recordings will be uploaded the morning after each night class and will also be available to those that attend in-person- register here for virtual.

A little bit about the instructor: Heidi is the owner of Sophrosyne Wellness (SWELL Health) and is a Registered Holistic Nutrition certified in Holistic Culinary Cooking. She continued on to become certified in Sports Nutrition & Performance while also completing the Discovery Program at Cedars and becoming an ISW certified facilitator. Heidi loves to meal-prep nourishing meals for her clients and discuss ways to support the mind, body and soul.
